JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard.

(2.) The applicant has preferred the first bail application for grant of anticipatory bail, as he apprehends his arrest in connection with Crime No.194/2020, registered at Police Station- City Kotwali, Bilaspur, District: Bilaspur (C.G.) for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

(3.) The applicant has defrauded and cheated the complainant and other victims to the tune of Rs.65 lacs from February, 2020 to August, 2020 by calling in the complainant's mobile number introducing himself as Mukesh Ambani of Jio company, assuring the complainant of huge rewards for being victorious in lucky draw. The applicant has transferred the amount to co-accused Virat Singh. Another Co-accused Sita Ram Gauda has informed the Police in his memorandum statement that this applicant has transferred the amount in the account of Virat, who, in turn, transferred the amount in his account.
