JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard.

(2.) Aland police have charge sheeted the petitioner and accused No.1 in Crime No.224/2016 of their police station for the offences punishable under Sections 379 IPC and Section 21(1) of Mines and Minerals Regulation of Development Act on the allegation that on 14.11.2016 at 6.00 a.m. they were illegally transporting stolen sand in tipper lorry bearing registration No.KA-32/C-7052 near Khajuri Border within Aland police station jurisdiction.

(3.) According to the prosecution, the police intercepted the vehicle and seized sand and vehicle. Accused No.1 was allegedly driving the said vehicle. In the charge sheet, the petitioner is shown as absconding accused. Therefore, he is apprehending his arrest.
