JUDGEMENT

(1.) This petition is filed under section 438 of Cr.P.C , 1973seeking anticipatory bail in Crime No.209/2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 354, 417, 420, 506 read with Section 34 of IPC.

(2.) Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and learned High Court Government Pleader.

(3.) FIR is registered based on the complaint lodged by Monija.R. The gist of the allegation is that she was in love with the brother of the petitioner by name Nagendra. She had entered into marriage ceremony with him in a temple. When she insisted for registration of the marriage, the said Nagendra dodged the issue. It is alleged that the petitioners herein were also trying to dissuade her from marriage and in that regard, she was threatened by the petitioners and produced fake documents to the effect that the said Nagendra was suffering from Encephalopathy.
