JUDGEMENT

(1.) The appellant herein was the claimant before the Presiding Officer, II Fast Track Court and Addl. MACT, Belagavi (henceforth referred to as the 'Tribunal' for brevity) in MVC No. 796/2009. Whose claim petition under section 166 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 was allowed in part by the impugned judgment and award dated 28.04.2010. Seeking enhancement of the compensation awarded by the Tribunal the appellant has preferred this appeal

(2.) In his memorandum of appeal, the appellant has taken a contention that the quantum of compensation awarded by the Tribunal under various heads are all meagre. Further stating that the Tribunal ought to have awarded the compensation as claimed by him, has prayed for allowing the appeal.

(3.) Heard the arguments from both sides and perused the materials placed before this Court.
