JUDGEMENT

(1.) Although the matter is listed for orders, I have taken it up for final disposal with the consent of the learned advocates appearing for the parties.

(2.) W.P.No.8589/2016 is filed by the Muslim Jamath Committee raising the challenge to the Official Memorandum, dated 8.2.2016 (Annexure-A) issued by the third respondent, informing the petitioner that the first respondent Karnataka State Board of Wakfs has directed the postponement of the annual Uroos till the election process is completed. The endorsement further requires the petitioner to suspend all the activities in connection with the conducting of the said Uroos and not to incur any further expenditure on that account.

(3.) W.P.No.9248/2016 is filed by Sri B.M.Usman Haji, President of Thajul Islam Jumma Masjid, seeking a writ of mandamus to postpone the conducting of Uroos till the election to the new Managing Committee of the Thajul Islam Jumma Masjid takes place.
