JUDGEMENT

(1.) P .R. Rashmi - Respondent No.2 in both the cases is present before the Court today. Sri C.S. Nagendra Prasad Petitioner in CRL.P.No.4782/2014 is also present before the Court today. The petitioners in CRL.P.No.780/2014 who are the close relatives of the petitioner in CRL.P.No.4782/2014 are not present.

(2.) SRI S.Srinivasamurthy, learned counsel appearing for 2nd respondent - Smt. P.R. Rashmi has filed vakalath in CRL.P.No.4782/2014. He has already filed vakalath for respondent No.2 in CRL.P.No.780/2014. The parties have produced the Mediation Centre's report wherein the petitioner C.S. Nagendra Prasad and 2nd respondent have compromised the matter and it is specifically stated at paragraph 6 of Mediation Centre's report that the 2nd respondent herein has agreed to see that the case pending in the Criminal Court ends in logical way without affecting the interest of the 2nd respondent and thus Crime No.387/2013 pending before the V ACMM, Nrupathunga Road, Bangalore City, and the Crl.P.No.780/2013 pending before this Court, has filed the compromise petition to put an end to the litigation. The Mediation Centre's report clearly discloses that the parties have compromised the matter amicably and in fact the said compromise petition was presented before the Principal Judge, Family Court at Bangalore in M.C.No.987/2014. Before this Court also the 2nd respondent filed an affidavit reporting the contents of the Mediation Centre's report and also submitted that there is no objections to quash the proceedings. Likewise the petitioner filed a similar affidavit in this regard confirming the compromise entered into between himself and the 2nd respondent.

THE above said two petitions are filed before this Court requesting this Court to quash the entire proceedings in Crime No.387/2013 registered against the petitioner in the above said two cases for the offence punishable under Section 498 -A r/w Section 34 of IPC pending on the file of the V ACMM, Nrupathunga Road, Bangalore.
