JUDGEMENT

(1.) This petition is filed under Sec. 439 of Cr.P.C. by the sole accused in Cr.No.58/2023 of Mysuru South Police Station, registered for offences punishable under Ss. 504 and 307 of IPC.

(2.) Heard both the sides and perused the material on record.

(3.) The complaint lodged by one Rajesha/victim would reveal that on 2/3/2023, the accused, a painter by profession and a friend of the complainant demanded a sum of Rs.3,000.00 from him and when he refused to pay, assaulted on his head with re-piece patti.
