DIVISIONAL CONTROLLER, NWKRTC Vs. SAVITRAMMA

JUDGEMENT

(1.) This writ petition is filed by the Divisional Controller, NWKRTC (for short 'corporation') challenging the order dtd. 23/2/2018 passed by the Assistant Labour Commissioner and Appellate Authority under payment of Gratuity Act, Belagavi (Annexure-D) and order dtd. 24/2/2014 passed by the Assistant Labour Commissioner and Controlling Authority and payment of gratuity Act, Hubballi, in PGA CR. Appeal No.54/2017 (Annexure-B to the writ petition).

(2.) The respondent remained absent. In view of the fact that, the respondent is claiming payment of gratuity in respect of her deceased husband, this Court appointed Sri. Ravi Hegde, as an Amicus Curie to assist the Court.

(3.) Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
