RAVI KUMAR H. L. Vs. STATE OF KARNATAKA

JUDGEMENT

(1.) This petition under Sec. 439 of Cr.P.C. is filed seeking to enlarge the petitioner - accused on bail in S.C.No.5074/2022 (Crime No.138/2022) pending on the file of the III Additional District and Sessions Judge, Mandya (Sitting at Srirangapattana) for the offences punishable under Ss. 302 and 201 of IPC.

(2.) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned High Court Government Pleader for the State.

(3.) FIR was registered against unknown persons for the offences punishable under Ss. 302 and 201 of IPC alleging that one Pushpalatha M Y - mother of the informant was brutally murdered by slitting her throat. The police after investigation submitted the charge sheet implicating the petitioner herein on the basis of the statement of C.Ws. 2, 3 and 5, who have stated that the accused had financial transactions with the deceased.
