VEERABHADRA Vs. STATE OF KARNATAKA

JUDGEMENT

(1.) This petition is filed under Sec. 439 of Cr.P.C. praying to enlarge the petitioner/accused on bail in Crime No.183/2022 of Kanakapura Rural Police Station.

(2.) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned High Court Government Pleader for respondent - State and perused the materials on record.

(3.) Victim's father lodged a complaint on 27/8/2022 regarding missing of his minor daughter from 26/8/2022 and suspected that the petitioner might have kidnapped her. A case was registered under Sec. 363 of IPC against the petitioner and investigation was taken-up. The victim was traced on 1/9/2022. The accused was arrested on the same day. The statement of the victim was recorded under Ss. 161 and 164 of Cr.P.C. The medical examination of the victim was conducted. On completion of investigation, charge sheet has been filed against the petitioner.
