JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioner who is working as a teacher in the LEA Kannada Higher Primary School, Dharwad has approached this Court with a prayer to direct the respondents to make corrections in his date of birth as 2/6/1966 instead of 12/10/1963, in his service record.

(2.) Heard the learned counsel for the parties and also perused the material on record.

(3.) Petitioner is a teacher working in LEA Kannada Higher Primary School since the year 1991. It is the case of the petitioner that his date of birth was wrongly mentioned as 12/10/1963 instead of 2/6/1966 in his school records. It is under this circumstance, the petitioner had filed O.S.No.106/2015 before the jurisdictional Court at Dharwad with a prayer to declare his date of birth as 2/6/1966 and not 12/10/1963. The said suit was decreed on 2/11/2015 and it was declared that the correct date of birth of the petitioner was 2/6/1966 and not 12/10/1963.
