JUDGEMENT

(1.) Challenging judgment and award dtd. 25/11/2017 passed by Senior Civil Judge and Additional MACT, Ramdurg in MVC.no.2701/2014, this appeal is filed by claimants for enhancement of compensation.

(2.) Brief facts as stated are that in an accident that occurred on 18/7/2014, deceased - Smt.Hussainbhi traveling in Van bearing registration no.KA-20/D-1468 due to rash and negligent driving by its driver, she sustained fatal injuries and died.

(3.) Alleging loss of dependency, her husband and five children filed claim petition under Sec. 166 of Motor Vehicles Act, against owner and insurer of offending vehicle.
