JUDGEMENT

(1.) This petition is filed under Sec. 438 of Cr.P.C. praying to release the petitioner on anticipatory bail in Cr. No.130/2022 of Sathanoor Police Station registered for the offence punishable under Ss. 380 and 454 of IPC.

(2.) Heard both the sides and perused the material available on record.

(3.) Regarding a theft committed on 28/4/2022 in the house of the Complainant, he lodged a complaint with the respondent Police, based on which a case was registered against unknown persons in Crime No. 130/2022 for the offence punishable under Ss. 354 and 380 of IPC. Petitioner came to be arrested in Cr. No.108/2022 of Kodihalli Police Station on 11/7/2022. In the voluntary statement, he is alleged to have confessed of having committed the offence in this case.
