JUDGEMENT

(1.) Accused No.2 in Crime No.191/2023 registered by the Ashoknagar Police station, Bengaluru for the offences punishable under Ss. 294, 370 read with Sec. 34 of IPC and Sec. 103 of Karnataka Police Act, 1963, is before this Court seeking regular bail.

(2.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned High Court Government Pleader for the respondent - State.

On the basis of complaint lodged by the Inspector of Police, C.C.B., Women Protection Wing, Bengaluru, FIR has been registered on 18/6/2023 by Ashoknagar Police Station, Bengaluru in Crime No.191/2023 against four persons for the aforesaid offences. The petitioner herein is arrayed as accused No.2 in the FIR. In the complaint, it is stated that on 17/6/2023 at about 7.00 p.m., the complainant received a credible information that in the Bar and Restaurant known as Fuel Resto Bar in Richmond Town, Bangalore, girls wearing indecent dresses were dancing and customers were allowed to touch the private parts of the said girls. Based on the aforesaid information, raid was conducted by the complainant along with the staff who found that some of the girls out of 19 girls found in the premises were dancing with the customers. The raid squad found totally 54 customers and 19 girls in the premises, which had CL-7 license under the Karnataka Excise Act. Accused No.2 who was working as General Manager in the said Bar was taken to custody and on the basis of complaint lodged, Ashoknagar Police have registered FIR in Crime No.191/2023. The bail application filed by the petitioner herein before the Court of Sessions Judge in Cril.Misc.No.5723/2023 was dismissed by the said Court on 27/6/2023. Under these circumstances, the petitioner is before this Court.
