Decided On February 06, 2013
Karnataka International Appellant
V/S
BANGALORE UNIVERSITY JNANA BHARATHI Respondents

JUDGEMENT

(1.) PETITIONERS are before this Court seeking for a direction to the respondents in general and second respondent in particular, to furnish the required enrolment numbers and the Admission/Hall Tickets in respect of 36 students of the petitioners' college, who have to take the ensuing M.Ed. examination of the 1st respondent University scheduled to commence from 12.2.2013 and for such other relief.

(2.) HEARD the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel representing the respondents Bangalore University.

(3.) IN the background of these observations, though certain deficiencies have not been complied with, affording opportunity to the petitioners institution, in the interest of the students who have been admitted by the petitioners, they were permitted to pay the examination fees and also simultaneously, petitioners were directed to comply with the deficiencies pointed out by the respondent University. In this regard, even the Local Inspection Committee and Task Force Committee have visited the petitioners Institutions and a report has been submitted. In that view of the matter and also giving breathing time to the petitioners Management, they were permitted to enroll the students and also they were directed to comply with the requirement of the conditions imposed by the Local Inspection Committee and also Task Force Committee. It appears, the conduct of the University, of course, is to see that the Institutions maintain the standards. However, having given some breathing time to the management to comply with the directions, the students are permitted to pay the examination fee. Hence, it does not serve any purpose unless the petitioners' students are permitted to take up the examination and complete their course.
