JUDGEMENT

(1.) This appeal by the appellants-claimants is directed against the impugned common judgment and award dated 18/04/2011 passed in MVC No.153/2009, by the Principal District Judge and Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Chickmagalur, (hereinafter referred to as ' Tribunal' for short), for enhancement of compensation.

(2.) The Tribunal by its judgment and award has awarded a sum of Rs. 5,44,000/- under different heads with interest at 6% per annum from the date of petition till realization, as against the claim of the claimants for a sum of Rs. 25,00,000/-, on account of the death the deceased Sri. B.H.Suresh @ Gopalagowda, in the road traffic accident.

(3.) In brief, the facts of the case are:
