(2.) The petitioner is before this Court challenging the orders passed by the Land Tribunal dated 25.2.1982, 25.4.2012 and the order passed by the Land Reforms Appellate Authority dated 20.10.1987 respectively as per Annexures-"C to E".
(3.) The petitioner claims to be a Constituent of All India Veera Shaiva Mahasabha, formed with the object of resolving the disputes relating to Veera Shaiva Mutts, temples etc. by pursuing conciliation and other arbitration proceedings. It is the case of the petitioner that the agricultural lands as mentioned at Paragraph 4 of the writ petition, are the lands belonging to Gurpur Mutt having its branch at Dhanugala Village in Virajpet Taluk, Kodagu District having been granted by the then Maharaja of Kodagu District for development and maintenance of the said Mutt. The revenue records as per Annexures-F and G series clearly indicate that the aforementioned lands stand in the name of Sri.Channabasava Sanyasi representing the Mutt, as he being the Mathadhipathi of Dhanugala of Gurupur Mutt and as such, he has no individual or personal right over the aforesaid lands. Despite the said fact, the Mathadhipathi had executed the registered agreement of sale agreeing to sell 1.67 acres in Survey Nos.24, 16.87 acres in Survey No.38, 7.86 acres in Survey No.53, 27.83 acres in Survey No.25 and 25 acres in Survey No.38 respectively in favour of one M.T.Bopaiah, the predecessor of respondents 4 to 8.
