MAHENDRA L. Vs. STATE OF KARNATAKA

JUDGEMENT

(1.) This petition is filed under sec. 439 Cr.P.C., by accused No.1 seeking to enlarge him on bail in Crime No.70/2022 of HSR Layout Police Station.

(2.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned HCGP for the respondent - State and perused the material on record.

(3.) The complaint is lodged by one Santhosh Kumar alleging that he was residing in France and during January 2022, he returned to Bengaluru. Since 2019, the petitioner and his wife were residing as tenants in his house and they are known to him. Petitioner's wife was close to him and he used to help them. Coming to know about the same, the petitioner vacated the said house and started residing in a rented house in Roopena Agrahara, Bommanahalli, Bengaluru. In the month of January 2022, when he visited the house of petitioner's wife, a quarrel took place between the petitioner and his wife and there was a complaint lodged at Bommanahalli Police Station. Thereafter, police advised the parties and closed the case and they advised him not to trouble petitioner's wife. Thereafter, once again he went to France.
