JUDGEMENT

(1.) PETITIONER has sought for quashing of Annexures -K and L wherein the petitioner's pay is wrongly fixed at Rs. 13,112/ -. Case of the petitioner is that, he was appointed as a Meter Reader in 1974. In pursuance of Annexure -C provision was made that, the Meter Readers, who were working with S.S.L.C. Qualification, be appointed as Junior Engineers. Since the said circular was not considered, he gave a representation. When his representation was not considered, he approached this Court in W.P. No. 29326/1998. This Court by order dated 8th January 2002 issued a direction to consider the grievance of the petitioner. Accordingly, he was promoted on 11.5.1994 instead of 15.5.1989 Again he gave a representation. When it was also not considered, he filed another W.P. No. 10405/2010. This Court issued another direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner. Accordingly, his representation is considered and scale is fixed at Rs. 13,112/ -.

(2.) LEARNED Counsel for the petitioner submits that, one K.C. Chowdegowda, who is junior to the petitioner, has been given higher scale than the petitioner. As such, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents and respondents neither have considered the representation nor have taken a decision in consonance with the earlier direction issued by this Court. Learned Counsel for the respondents submits that, the respondents will consider the grievance of the petitioner and take an appropriate decision within two months.
