JUDGEMENT

(1.) This appeal by the appellants-claimants is directed against the impugned common judgment and award dated 24/10/2008 passed in MVC No.672/2007 by the Civil Judge(Sr.Dn) and Member Additional Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Chitradurga, (hereinafter referred to as ' Tribunal' for short), for enhancement of compensation.

(2.) The Tribunal by its judgment and award has awarded a sum of Rs. 9,05,408/- under different heads with interest at 6% per annum from the date of petition till the date of realisation, as against the claim of the claimants for a sum of Rs. 29,25,000/-, on account of the death the deceased Sri. A.Siddappa, in the road traffic accident.
