JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE claimant in MVC No. 5240/2007, on the file of the MACT, Bangalore, has come up in this appeal seeking enhancement awarded therein.

(2.) THE brief facts leading to this appeal are as under:

(3.) BEING aggrieved by the quantum of compensation awarded, the present appeal is filed seeking enhancement. On going through the medical evidence on record, it is seen that the injuries suffered by the claimant are serious in nature. It is nearly four fracture in all. In that view of the matter, the compensation awarded in a sum of Rs.35,000.00 towards 'pain and sufferings' is on lower side and the same is enhanced to Rs.60,000.00, by awarding additional compensation of Rs.25,000.00.
