JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioner, who was admitted to the three years LL.B. Course at the third respondent College in 2004, is agitating her right to appear for the 6th Semester LL.B. examination scheduled to take place in May 2012. Sri J.M. Umesh Murthy, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent No. 1 submits that the first respondent Academic Council in its meeting held on 23.03.2011 has passed the resolution to grant two more chances to all the students to complete the degree course. He has also placed on record a copy of the said resolution along with the memo.

(2.) RECORDING the passing of the resolution by the Academic Council, I allow this petition by directing the respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to receive the examination fees from the petitioning student and to permit her to appear for the 6th Semester LL.B. examination taking place in May 2012 subject to the petitioner meeting the eligibility criteria in all other respects.
