JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD the Learned Counsel for the petitioner and the Learned Counsel for State. Perused the materials on record. This petition is filed seeking bail in Crime No. 13/12 of Vidyaranyapuram Police Station, Mysore, registered for the offence punishable under Section 193, 465, 466, 468, 471, 420 and 192(A) r/w 34 of IPC.

(2.) IT is the allegation of the prosecution that the petitioner being a village accountant has tampered the revenue documents relating to the year 1983 -84.

(3.) BE that as it may, since the offence is not punishable with death or imprisonment for life, I am inclined to grant the bail. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. The petitioner is directed to be released on bail in the event of his arrest in Crime No. 13/2012 of Vidyaranyapuram Police Station, Mysore, on his executing a bond for Rs. 25,000/ - (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) with one surety for the likesum to the satisfaction of the investigation officer and subject to further following conditions: (i) The petitioner shall surrender before the police within 10 days from today and the police are at liberty to detain the petitioner for a period of three days for the purpose of investigation., enquiry, identification and recovery and on such days, he shall be kept in the police station between 8.00 a.m., to 6.00 p.m., only. (ii) The petitioner shall file a regular bail application before feel Court below within ten days after his release from the police station. (iii) The Trial Court shall dispose of the application on merits without being influenced by the order made herein petitioner to appear before the police station.
