(1.) THE petitioners have challenged the Land Tribunal's order, dated 14.6.1982 (Annexure-B) granting the occupancy rights in favour of the respondent No.2.
(2.) HEARD Sri G.Raghunandan, the learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri Shashidhar S.Karamadi, the learned High Court Government Pleader appearing for the respondent No.1 and Sri A.Madhusudhan Rao, the learned counsel for the respondent No.2.
(3.) FOR another reason too, I find that these petitions are liable to be rejected at the threshold. Admittedly, the petitioner Nos.1 and 2 are not the applicants for the grant of the occupancy rights. The third petitioner's father was an applicant for the grant of the occupancy rights. He has filed a statement before the first respondent that he claimed the occupancy rights only on behalf of the respondent No.2. He has indicated his no objection to the conferring of occupancy rights in favour of the respondent No.2. Thus, on the ground of the locus-standi also, these petitions are liable to be rejected.
