KARTAR RADHE SINGH Vs. HANMANTH BALU PATIL

JUDGEMENT

(1.) This appeal is filed by the claimants on the file of the VI Addl. District and Judge and MACT, Belagavi (for short 'the Tribunal') in MVC No.1331/2019, seeking enhancement of compensation.

(2.) Though the matter is listed for admission, with the consent of learned counsel for the parties, it was taken up for final disposal. Parties in this appeal are referred to as their ranking before the Tribunal.

(3.) Claimants are the legal heirs of the deceased Vishwajeet Kumar Kartar Singh. It is the case of the claimants that on 24/6/20196, deceased was proceeding on the motorcycle bearing registration No.GJ-15/AN-3270 towards Mahantesh Nagar, Belagavi and at that time the driver of the tipper bearing registration No.KA-22/B-8732 dashed to the motorcycle, resulted in death of the rider of the motorcycle and therefore the claimants have filed MVC No.1331/2019 before the Tribunal, seeking compensation.
