JUDGEMENT

(1.) I have heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

(2.) THE petitioner had appeared for the 6th semester B.Sc. degree course examination during April 2011. He failed in one paper out of two papers in Mathematics. In the mean time, he was qualified to get admission to M.Sc./Ph.D. course in I.I.T. On account of his failure in one of the subjects referred to above, he could not join I.I.T. for further studies. Therefore, he has filed W.P. No. 34871/2011 for a mandamus directing the respondents to conduct supplementary examination in the failed subject of 6th semester i.e., Mathematics, during October/November 2011 and for certain other reliefs.

(3.) IN view of the order passed in W.P. No. 34871/2011. W.P. No. 24247/2011 also does not survive for consideration. It is accordingly dismissed. No costs.
