JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioner has sought for the following reliefs in this writ petition: - 1. Issue an appropriate writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to permit the petitioner to complets his B.A. Degree course from, the respondent University, in the interest of justice and eqwlty. Petitioner has joined B.A. (Under -graduate course) in the year 2003, As per the relevant' rules, the petitioner ought to have completed B.A. degree within six years from the date of joining the course, However, the petitioner could not complete the course within six years, inasmuch as, be has failed in certain of the subjects. As the petitioner was not permitted to take up further examinations after six years he approached this Court by filing this writ petition for the aforementioned reliefs,

(2.) AT the time of issuing notice, this Court granted the interim order in favour of the petitioner permitting him to appear for examinations, subject to the result of the writ petition. However, this Court directed that declaration of results of the examinations shall not be announced Accordingly, the petitioner has already appeared for examintions.

(3.) ACCORDINGLY , writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to permit the petitioner to appear for examintions by giving Mm two more chances pursuant to the resolution of the Academic Council of the University dated 23.3.2011 Since the petitioner has already appeered for the examinations pursuant to the interim order, the results of the petitioner shall be announced As the petitioner has already taken one chance pursuant to interim order of this Court, be is entitled to get one more chance, in case, if the petitioner fails.
