(1.) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned HCGP for the respondent - State, and perused the records.
(2.) The petitioners have been arraigned as accused Nos.4 and 6 in Crime No.95/2020 with the Ramanagara Rural Police. The FIR in Crime No.95/2020 is registered for the offences punishable under Sections 427 , 341 , 323 , 324 , 327 , and 307 r/w. Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioners' respective bail petitions before the III Additional District and Sessions Judge Ramanagara in Criminal Misc.Nos.210/2020 and 22/2020 have been rejected by order dated 7.5.2020. Therefore, they are before this Court with the present petitions.

The prosecution's case is that the petitioners and others assaulted the complainant, Sri Vasantha B.P. and others on 11.3.2020 causing them grievous injuries with the intent to commit their murder. It is asserted that the complainant, Sri Vasantha B.P. and others had travelled to Ramanagara on 10.3.2020 from Hassan to sell Silkworm cocoon and there were exchange of words and quarrel between the complainant, his companions and the petitioners and others in the night between 10th and 11th March 2020. The petitioners and others threatened the complainant and others. The complainant and others on the next day i.e., 11.3.2020 were returning to their native place after completing the sale of their produce, and it is alleged that the petitioners and the others accosted the vehicle in which the complainant and the others were travelling and assaulted them causing some grievous injuries. The petitioner in Crl.P.No.2314/2020 (accused No.4) and Sri Srikanth (accused No.5) were taken to custody at the place of occurrence by the police who arrived at the place of occurrence. The complainant and the other injured were shifted to Government Hospital for treatment, and the complainant has filed the complaint with the jurisdictional police after returning from the hospital. The petitioner in Crl.P.No.2343/2020 (accused No.6) is the owner of the car used by the accused when they allegedly accosted the injured.
