(1.) We have perused the averments as also the prayers made in the writ petition. To put mildly, this is a classic example how a writ petition filed by way of a public interest litigation should not be drafted and filed. Omnibus prayers have been made in the petition and as many as 31 grounds are pleaded. There are 15 prayers. We are of the view that some of the issues involved in this petition have already been decided by the this Court in W.P.No.53244/2018 dated 8th August 2019.
(2.) In the light of this observation, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition with a liberty to file a properly drafted petition containing proper prayers.
(3.) As the issues raised in this petition include the implementation of the amended provisions of the Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act, 1976, we accept the prayer made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners.
