Learned counsel prays for four weeks time to state the correct position with regard to both the aspects within four weeks.
(3.) STATE of Madhya Pradesh: We have perused the affidavit filed on behalf of the STATE of Madhya Pradesh. That does not deal specifically with each one of the directions given in D.K. Basu's case. Although in the affidavit, it has been stated generally that the directions are being complied with but a careful reading of the affidavit shows that with regard to some of the directions, only instructions have been issued and there is no indication about the compliance, as such. Learned counsel appearing for the STATE of Madhya Pradesh submits that he shall file a detailed affidavit within four weeks dealing with each one of the directions specifically and stating the compliance or the extent of compliance in respect of each one of those directions.
