ENVIORNMENT SOCIETY OF INDIA Vs. UNION OF INDIA

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Inspection Report of the industries manufacturing asbestos based automotive products has been filed. Copy of the same has been furnished to MR. Harish N. Salve, learned Amicus Curiae. In the Report, certain improvements in Pollution Control System of various units have been indicated. Two units, namely, M/s Friction Material Pvt. Ltd. and M/s Remsons Industries Ltd. , Mumbai could not be inspected because of incomplete address while M/s Automobile Products of india Ltd. , Bombay was found closed. Union of India shall furnish the fresh particular of these units.

(2.) An additional affidavit has been filed on behalf of Union of India. It is taken on record.

(3.) At the request of learned Amicus, the matter shall stand adjourned for three months to enable him to examine the Inspection report and connected documents.
