JUDGEMENT

(1.) Leave to appeal is granted.

(2.) In pursuance of the previous order of this Court dated 10 Dec. 2018, the Court has been informed by the learned Additional Solicitor General that a decision has been taken by Army Headquarters on 21 Feb. 2019 to accord 'absolute sanction' for the grant of pensionary benefits to the appellant. A copy of the communication is placed on the record and has been handed over to the learned counsel for the appellant.

(3.) In view of the decision taken by the government, which we appreciate, nothing further survives in the Civil Appeal.
