JUDGEMENT

(1.) This is a petition for transfer of the proceedings initiated by the respondent under Sections 12(1)(a) and 13(1)(ia) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 from the Court of the Principal Judge, Family Court, Ranchi, Jharkhand to a Court of competent jurisdiction at Agra, Uttar Pradesh.

(2.) In pursuance of the notice that was issued by this Court, the respondent has appeared and has filed a counter affidavit.

(3.) The respondent has certain apprehensions about travelling to Agra where the petitioner is a practising Advocate.
