(2.) This special leave petition is directed against an order dated 16th September, 2016 passed by the High Court of Punjab & Haryana at Chandigarh, dismissing Criminal Revision No.609/2015, filed by the petitioner under Section 401 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

(3.) By a judgment dated 22nd October, 2012 the Judicial Magistrate (First Class) dismissed a complaint filed by the petitioner under the provisions of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.
