JUDGEMENT

(1.) Leave granted.

(2.) The High Court by the impugned order dated 07 Sept. 2018 rejected the application filed by the appellant for suspension of sentence during the pendency of Criminal Appeal Nos. 1614 & 1616 of 2018.

(3.) The appellant has been convicted under Sec. 354 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 read with Sections 7 and 8 of the POCSO Act, 2012. The appellant was taken into custody on 16 Aug. 2018 and has undergone imprisonment of about five months. During the course of the trial the appellant was on bail.
