JUDGEMENT

(1.) The learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner shall verify as to whether there was an appeal against Sessions Case No. 173 of 2000 filed before the High Court.

(2.) The Registry is directed to get a confidential report of the Character Verification as referred to at Page 80 of the paper book. The antecedents of the petitioner, as on this date, shall also be ascertained.
