(1.) We have heard the learned counsels for the parties.

(2.) Leave granted.

(3.) The accused appellant has been in custody for a period of over 26 months as on date on a charge of commission of offence under Section 135 of the Customs Act, 1962. The maximum punishment awardable under the aforesaid provision of law is seven years. The co-accused has also been granted bail by the High Court.
