(1.) The issues raised in these appeals pertain to disbursement of medical reimbursement to the judicial officers. There is no dispute that after the implementation of the Report of 'Shetty Commission', the whole dispute has been given a quietus and there is no ceiling to the reimbursement.
(2.) These appeals pertain to a period prior to the Commission Report, but this Court has held that the recommendations would be given effect from 1.1.1996 in the Order dated 21.03.2002 passed in All India Judges Association and Ors. v. Union of India and Ors, (2002) 4 SCC 247.
(3.) We also find that beneficiaries are only five officers and the total liability for the State is below Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees Five lakhs only). On all these counts, we do not find any merit in these cases. They are, accordingly, dismissed.
