M.C. EHTA Vs. UNION OF INDIA

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Mr. A.N.S. Nadkarni, learned ASG appearing on behalf of the Union of India has suggested the possibility of an amicable resolution of the issues that have arisen in this case.

(2.) He says that he has had extensive discussions with the concerned officials and he is confident that some solution can be found primarily keeping the interest of the people of Delhi in mind.

(3.) The learned ASG also says that he and the Government of India will attempt to bring the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, the Delhi Development Authority, all the Municipal Corporations of Delhi as well as the Delhi Government on board and come out with the solution that is acceptable to everybody.
