MRIDUL DHAR Vs. UNION OF INDIA

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard learned counsel for the parties.

(2.) It appears that the deadline fixed in the case of Mridul Dhar (Minor) and Another v. Union of India and Ors., 2005 2 SCC 65, could not be adhered to because of unprecedented situation in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. In view of this, as a special case, we extend the time for completing the process for admission in M.B.B.S. and B.D.S courses within the State of Jammu and Kashmir upto 10th October, 2008.

(3.) Interlocutory applications are, accordingly, disposed of.
