JUDGEMENT

(1.) Learned counsel for the State of Manipur states at the Bar that the petitioner shall be provided adequate protection and security for the safety of her life and liberty. We take this statement on record and are confident that the respondent shall carry out aforesaid statement and provide adequate security to the petitioner.

(2.) At this stage, Ms.Kamini Jaiswal, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at present the petitioner is staying in Delhi because of the alleged threats which have been given to her in Manipur. In these circumstances, she prays that Central Government should provide security to the petitioner in Delhi. Mr.Maninder Singh, learned Additional Solicitor General wants some time to seek instructions in the matter.
