JUDGEMENT

(1.) Challenge in this appeal is to the judgment of a Division Bench of the Punjab and Haryana High Court dismissing the appeal filed by the appellant and upholding the conviction as recorded by learned Sessions Judge, Patiala. Accused was found guilty of offences punishable under Sections 302, 326 and 324 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (in short the IPC) and sentences of life imprisonment and two years and 1 year respectively for the aforesaid offences with default stipulations were imposed.
