DAVID BERGMAN Vs. UNION OF INDIA AND OTHERS

JUDGEMENT

(1.) The State Government has agreed to drop any prosecution which may have been filed or which may be intended to be filed by them against the petitioner. The petitioner agrees that he will leave India latest by 30th Dec., 1986 and if he leaves India on or before 30th Dec., 1986, no action under the Foreigners Act shall be taken against him. The Addl. Solicitor General for India appearing on behalf of the respondents has fairly agreed to this suggestion. The same conditions as imposed by our order dated 30th Oct., 1986 will continue to apply with this modification that instead of reporting at the Police Station daily in Bhopal or Delhi as the case may be, the petitioner will report once in a week. Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
