JUDGEMENT

(1.) We have heard counsel for the parties.

(2.) In TP (Crl.) No. 256 of 2004, the petitioner prays for transfer of a criminal case u/s. 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act pending before the Court in Chennai to Delhi. In TP (Crl.) No. 258 of 2004, a similar prayer is made for transfer of the case from Ghaziabad to Delhi.

(3.) The case of the petitioners appears to be that in respect of the same transaction several cheques had been issued, but they were presented for encashment at different places, resulting in prosecutions at different places.
