(2.) Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the appeal papers.

(3.) In respect of the accident which occurred on 13/8/2009 and injury suffered by the claimant, he was before the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal (For short 'MACT') seeking compensation. The MACT through its Award dtd. 24/11/2017 has awarded a sum of Rs.12,72,000.00 with interest @ 9% per annum.
