JUDGEMENT

(1.) We have heard learned counsel appearing for the appellant and learned Additional Solicitor General.

(2.) Learned counsel appearing for the appellant has circulated a letter dtd. 7/6/2011. Along with the said letter he has also enclosed a Certificate issued by the Chief Registrar, Births & Deaths, Punjab dtd. 4/4/2011 wherein it is stated that Ram Kumar-appellant herein had expired on 1/3/2011. In that view, the appeal stands abated.
