JUDGEMENT

(1.) Leave granted.

(2.) Pursuant to the directions issued by us on 26.03.2012, the appellants herein have deposited a sum of Rs.13,682 lacs. The quantification was done by the appellants which was only tentative and without prejudice to the rights of both the parties.

(3.) This appeal was filed against the refusal by the High Court to grant any interim orders to the appellants wherein the appellants had sought for ad-interim stay of the demand notices issued by the respondents for payment of interest.
