JUDGEMENT

(1.) THESE petitions are directed against order, dated 6th May, 2011 of the Division Bench of the Gujarat High Court whereby the Special Civil Applications filed by the Petitioners for restraining the Gujarat University from filling up the seats at the level of post-graduation for the academic year 2011-2012 except in accordance with the Regulations framed by the Dental Council of India in 2007.

(2.) AFTER arguing the case for some time, Shri K.V. Viswanathan, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the Petitioners, on instructions, made a request that his clients may be permitted to withdraw the special leave petitions as also the Special Civil Applications with liberty to file fresh petitions before the High Court for the next academic session and also challenge the constitutional validity of the Gujarat Professional Medical Educational Colleges or Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fees) Act, 2007 (for short, "the Act").
