Yesterday four Bank Drafts totalling Rs. 80,000.00 were handed over to Ms. Indira Jaisingh , learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondent by learned counsel for the appellant. Today, a further sum of Rs. 2000.00 has been handed over to Ms. Manjula Gupta, Advocate-on-record for the respondent. In view of the payment of such amount towards maintenance, learned counsels for the both the parties are agreed that the order under challenge be set aside and the trial Court may be directed to take in to consideration the defence of the appellant who is the respondent in the divorce petition.
